Here at Timewax, we take your privacy seriously. In this notice we will explain why and which data we collect and what you can do if you do not agree to that. We will always process your data in a proper and careful manner. Your data is stored securely and is strictly limited to those who require access to the data. We have implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure your data does not fall into the wrong hands.
Our site uses different types of cookies. The law states that we can store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. Which personal data we collect
Timewax is the Controller of your data and we will collect the following types of personal data from you when you contact us or when you trial our software:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
Why we collect your personal data
We would like to contact you from time to time with details of the product and services we provide. We need your personal data in order to provide you with the following services:
- Provide login details
- Email blogs to educate you on project & resource planning
- Email product news to introduce new features that are relevant for you
What we do with your personal data
We do not process your data for any other purpose than for which it was intended and we do not process your data for any automated decision making. Furthermore we will not pass your personal data onto to other third parties.
Your personal data is processed in the EU and in the US. Storage of your personal data in the US relates to our mailing list and support tickets. For these services we use Mailchimp and Zendesk. Both suppliers are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No other third-party providers have access to your data, unless specifically required by law.
How long we keep your personal data
Any personal data held by us for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by us for a maximum of 3 years or less in case you notify us to have your data deleted. Please see our Data Retention Policy for more information on our personal data retention schedule.
We will only keep your data for a longer period of time in case of investigations from Dutch authorities to prove legal compliance or when we need to exercise legal rights in cases of law suits or similar court proceeding recognized under Dutch law.
Should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. In that case, please use this form.
In the event that you wish to complain about how we have handled your personal data, please contact our CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) Richard Willems at +44 20 3695 1838 or by sending an email. He will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.
Timewax is subject to the Dutch DPA as the local supervising authority. If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Dutch DPA to file a complaint with them.
