About your position as a DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you take the lead in our migration to the Google Cloud. In consultation with our developers and administrators, you determine which parts of the Google Cloud are used so that our software runs as well as possible. The keywords here are continuity, scalability and performance. Based on this, you’ll start the actual implementation.
We give you as much space as possible to introduce your ideas and initiatives so that you can leave your mark on Timewax’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for the management of the infrastructure and software deployments for the components that are already deployed on the Google Cloud.
What we ask
First of all, you have a Bachelors Degree and 1 to 5 years of experience in the DevOps field. Next to that, you are skilled with the following:
Knowledge about Jenkins and/or GitLab isn’t necessary but it’s an advantage.
We think it’s important that as a DevOps Engineer you’re proactive and eager to learn and that you constantly want to improve yourself. Because of this, we ask for a hands-on mentality.
